Tybee Beach Bum Celebration
May 16th & 17th, 2008
Tybee's Beach Bum Celebration is an annual event, but this year, the celebration has gotten bigger! Join us following the world famous Beach Bum Parade on Friday night for free live entertainment under the stars in Memorial Park. Then on Saturday the fun continues with kids activities and live music. The schedule of events is below:
Friday, May 16th
6 p.m. - Beach Bum parade starts at the Historic Tybee Lighthouse and ends at the Tybee Pier and Pavilion.
8 - 10 p.m. - Party in Memorial Park with live music and refreshments.
Saturday, May 17th
8 a.m. - YMCA Bummin' in the Sun Volleyball Tournament
4 - 9 p.m. - Beach Bum Luau

- Hula Hoop Contest
- Limbo Contest
Children’s Activities Including:
- Dunking Booth
- Obstacle Course
- Miniature Golf
- Moon Walk
- Sea of Balls
